A different kind of music studio
Artificial Grooves is a music creation and creative technology studio built by Briss Dunbaar — where songwriting, production, technology, experimentation, and storytelling come together to create new music.
At the center of it is Briss Dunbaar — the artistic identity of creator and entrepreneur Mathieu Brice (MB).
Long before Artificial Grooves existed, Briss started as a drummer, then became a rapper, songwriter, performer, producer, and eventually Executive Producer of BD Records. That evolution continues.
Today, Briss creates across Afrobeats, street music, pop, funk, manga-inspired music, and cross-genre collaborations — exploring both traditional musicianship and new ways of making records.
Where ideas become music
Artificial Grooves is a creative laboratory for unfinished ideas. A hook. A beat. A lyric. A melody. A concept. A half-finished song.
Sometimes the next step comes from another person. Sometimes it comes from experimentation. Sometimes it comes from technology. Artificial Grooves explores all of it.
Technology doesn't replace the creative process. It expands what is possible within it.
Some music is made entirely by humans. Some explores AI-assisted creation. Some combines both. The tool may change.
The goal remains the same: make something worth hearing.
